In this class, we blend the deep stretching of Yin yoga with the targeted pressure techniques of Myofascial Release. By using props like therapy balls and blocks, you’ll experience a self-administered deep tissue massage that enhances mobility and reduces tension.

Enjoy the benefits of YIN yoga and myofascial release is one nourishing class! YIN is our favorite way to increase long term flexibility and calm the mind. It is the perfect complement to any sport or vinyasa practice! Access the deepest tissues of the body with passively held yin postures for up to 5 minutes.  Myofascial Release is a technique that uses sustained pressure to re-pattern the muscles and fascia, creating more freedom and mobility in the connective tissues. Since every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, vein and organ is connected through connective tissue (fascia), releasing tightness in one area can help release or prevent chronic pain in another to facilitate optimal health and a sustainable yoga practice. This practice explores the full body using blocks and RAD myofascia balls to release the muscles...think self administered deep tissue massage! Since this is a passive practice, expect little to no muscular engagement and to be on the floor most of the class.
