We offer something for everyone!
Come visit us in the heart of St. Phillips Plaza! Nestled between our favorite local coffee shop (Ren Coffee) and a cozy, locally owned wine bar (Arizona Wine Collective), you’ll love the small shops, restaurants and buzzing energy that comes with the weekend farmer’s market every Saturday and Sunday!
Yoga Pod Tucson has two separate practice rooms, in addition to a community lounge area, boutique and beautifully stocked locker rooms. Each class listed below is 60-minutes, unless noted by a number at the end of the class style (for example, ‘podHOT90’ is 90-minutes versus 60).
We recognize that with the diversity of so many class styles, our schedule can be a lot to navigate when you’re first getting started. If you’d like help identifying the classes that are the best fit for you, just send our Program Director, Shaelyn, a note and she’ll gladly guide you in the right direction!

podFIT
Build strength and work your core in this high energy, HIIT style fitness class! The perfect compliment to your yoga practice, podFIT is specifically designed to build strength and cardiovascular health. We incorporate weight training, body weight movements, cardio exercises, and high-energy music to help you get results quickly while you boost your mood and mindset. Class begins with a 10-minute warm up, followed by 40 minutes of circuit training and a 10-minute cool down. Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

podFLOW-HOT
Enhance your overall athleticism while focusing the mind and reducing stress in our signature vinyasa class. Set to music, vinyasa combines sequences that move breath to movement to create stamina and improve circulation, with longer held postures that cultivate strength, flexibility and balance. Each class is unique and creatively sequenced, though you can always expect to spend the first few minutes of class connecting to your breath, 40-45 minutes in the standing and balancing postures and enjoying the last 15 minutes of class cooling down on the floor and calming the nervous system. Temperature = 90-95 degrees with 40% humidity.

podFLOW
Sometimes the most powerful heat is the heat we generate from within! podFLOW brings in many of the same elements of podFLOW-HOT but utilizes powerful movements (like plank holds!) to build internal heat versus adding external heat to the room. Expect to increase your overall athleticism while focusing the mind and reducing stress in this powerful vinyasa yoga class. Set to music, vinyasa combines sequences that move breath to movement to create stamina and improve circulation, with longer held postures that cultivate strength, flexibility and balance. Each class is unique and creatively sequenced, though students can always expect to spend the first few minutes of class connecting to their breath, 40-45 minutes in the standing and balancing postures and enjoying the last 15 minutes of class cooling down on the floor and calming the nervous system. Temperature = 80-85 degrees with no added humidity.

Everything you love about podFLOW-HOT classes condensed into 45 minutes. You’ll power through a challenging class, work up a detoxifying sweat and leave the studio ready to tackle the rest of your day! Temperature = 90-95 degrees. with 40% humidity.

Enjoy our modernized spin on the traditional Ghosh inspired hot yoga 26 posture series in this rejuvenating set sequence class! Build strength, create balance and flexibility and sweat your stress away. Set to music and suitable for all levels, this class includes breathing exercises, a standing series, a floor series and is specifically designed to nourish your spine. Temperature = 100-105 degrees with 60% humidity. Come to class well hydrated and water is highly recommended.

Enjoy our modernized spin on the traditional Ghosh inspired hot yoga 26 posture series, but infused with traditional sun salutations! podHOT90-Plus is perfect for those who enjoy the podHOT series but are looking for an extra challenge. Build strength, create balance and flexibility and sweat your stress away. Set to music and suitable for all levels, this class includes breathing exercises, and weaves sun salutations into a standing series, a floor series and is specifically designed to nourish your spine. Temperature = 100-105 degrees with 60% humidity. Come to class well hydrated and water is highly recommended.

Candlelight podHOT26 Nidra
Our signature podHOT26 class with mellow tunes and adorned with candlelights to help you wind down for the evening but still cultivate a sweaty glow. In this candlelit rendition, each pose is practiced one time, leaving enough time for a full body mediation at the end.

SWEAT.HEAT.BEATZ.
Explore a fusion of vinyasa yoga sprinkled with a touch of podFIT! We pump up the heat and the music, and dial back the yoga cues and direction so you can flow and build strength and stamina through mini cardio and strength bursts. Expect to spend the first few minutes of class connecting to your breath, 40-45 minutes moving through your favorite standing yoga poses wedged between core, squats and glute strengthening work and enjoying the last 15 minutes of class cooling down on the floor. Temperature = 90-95 degrees with 40% humidity.

podMYOFASCIAL-FLOW
Enjoy the numerous benefits of this feel good yoga practice as we explore myofascial release work (think self applied massage work using the pressure of tennis balls) combined with simple yoga flow sequences to support the long term care of our joints and tissues. A balanced blend of strength, stretch and release work, this class is a perfect active recovery for the busy athlete as well as therapeutic support for anyone looking to minimize the aches and pains that arise in our day to day lives. Expect to spend equal time actively moving through standing poses and passively applying myofascial release techniques on the floor. Temperature = 80-85 degrees. Myofascial release balls provided.

YIN
Our favorite way to increase long term flexibility and calm the mind, yin yoga is the perfect complement to any sport or vinyasa practice! Access the deepest tissues of the body with passively held yin postures for up to 5 minutes. Release tension, increase circulation and improve flexibility in a calming & contemplative environment. This is a passive yoga practice so expect little to no muscular engagement and to be on the floor most of the class. Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

YIN + podNIDRA
This 90-minute yoga journey includes everything you already love about our 60-minute YIN yoga class with an additional 30 minutes of deeply nourishing yoga nidra meditation. podNIDRA is a sweet, guided meditation designed to slow down your brain waves and bring you into the ultimate state of rest, recovery, and pure bliss. Temperature = 75-80 degrees in this calming class taught in a room with candle light and soft music.

YIN + Sound
YIN paired with a delicious crystal bowl sound bath, further facilitating relaxation with the healing and balancing sound vibrations of specially tuned bowls. Our favorite way to celebrate the weekend! Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

YIN + Myofascial Release
Enjoy the benefits of YIN yoga and myofascial release is one nourishing class! YIN is our favorite way to increase long term flexibility and calm the mind. It is the perfect complement to any sport or vinyasa practice! Access the deepest tissues of the body with passively held yin postures for up to 5 minutes.
Myofascial Release is a technique that uses sustained pressure to re-pattern the muscles and fascia, creating more freedom and mobility in the connective tissues. Since every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, vein and organ is connected through connective tissue (fascia), releasing tightness in one area can help release or prevent chronic pain in another to facilitate optimal health and a sustainable yoga practice. This practice explores the full body using blocks and RAD myofascia release balls to release the muscles... Think self administered deep tissue massage! Since this is a passive practice, expect little to no muscular engagement and to be on the floor most of the class. Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

YIN + Meditation
Looking to incorporate more meditation and breathwork into your yoga practice?
Access the deepest tissues of the body with passively held yin postures for up to 5 minutes. Release tension, increase circulation and improve flexibility in a calming & contemplative environment. Spend about half the time opening the body in Yin postures and Savasana and then about half the time we’ll focus on pranayama (Breathwork) and guided meditation, lying down or seated; your choice. We will explore different types of pranayama and meditation including Nadi Shodana, Mindfulness, Body Scan, Mantra meditation and more. Beginners are welcome. Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

This invigorating 60-minute session offers a journey of creative exploration and self-discovery, using dynamic movements and breathwork to prepare your body and mind for deep insights and relaxation. The class blends energizing kriyas (sequences of asanas, breathwork, and mantra), focused meditation, and the soothing effects of integrated gong relaxation, all in a welcoming, unheated environment. This accessible but challenging yoga practice meets you where you are with the use of props and variations. Recommended for all levels of experience looking to deepen the mind/body connection. Improve your strength, endurance and balance, and leave feeling more peaceful and empowered. Expect to spend time in standing and seated poses. Temperature = 75-80 degrees.

Experience the Evolution of Barre with podBARRE! With podBARRE, we have redefined barre fitness by eliminating the ballet barre and using versatile props like resistance bands, hand held weights, core balls, slider discs and yoga blocks. Our classes focus on targeted muscle engagement, enhancing strength and stability through mindful movement. Classes are low impact and offer options to increase accessibility so the movement feels good in your body.
Removing the ballet barres promotes enhanced balance and core strength, challenging your body in new and effective ways. Perfect for yogis, podBARRE complements your yoga practice by improving flexibility, balance, and overall strength. Our classes are community focused as we believe we grow stronger while moving together.

Enjoy the numerous benefits of this feel good practice as we explore myofascial release work (think self-applied massage work using the pressure of tennis balls) combined with the targeted muscle engagement and strength/stability work you’d find in our podBARRE class to support the long term care of our joints. A balanced blend of functional strength and release work, this class is a perfect active recovery for the busy athlete as well as therapeutic support for anyone looking to minimize the aches and pains that arise in our day to day lives. We’ve removed the cardio segments that you would find in podBARRE but have kept all the targeted burn work and upbeat music! Expect to toggle between low impact strength and passive muscular releases with 50% of class spent standing and the other 50% on the floor. Temperature = 80-85 degrees. Myofascial release balls provided.
