What brought you to yoga?
About 10 years ago, a friend asked me to go to a yoga class with her and I really loved the physical benefits that I felt from the practice. I’ve consistently practiced for the last 10 years but after the birth of my daughter in 2021, I really started to notice and embrace what yoga did for me mentally and emotionally and I am so grateful for how my practice has evolved.
What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
I have practiced hatha, yin, vinyasa, and Ghosh/26 & 2 -style yoga (I LOVE HEAT!) and I received my RYT-200 in October of 2021. My passion is PodHOT - I love watching how my practice can vary from day to day and meeting my body, mind, and spirit where they are at. My hope is to facilitate a space where every body can practice and move in a way that feels authentic, safe, and joyful.
What would your students be surprised to know about you?
Funny enough - I think most everyone is surprised to learn that I am from a pretty small town in Texas, especially because I inadvertently lost my accent over a decade ago!
