Kumari Sky, Yin, Hatha, Restorative, Sound, Meditation, and Yoga Nidra Teacher
She/Her/Hers
What brought you to yoga?
When I was 21, I took a community ed. class for fun… I fell in love with yoga after my very first class. Yoga brought me to a place physically and emotionally I had never experienced, I knew right away I wanted to learn everything I could about it!
What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
I did my very first hatha yoga teacher training in 1996, since then I have done numerous teacher trainings including: Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Aqua Yoga and Meditation. I have taught all ages and abilities since 2004, from basic hatha to chair yoga to power flow, but my passion lies in the slower yoga, especially yin.
What would your students be surprised to know about you?
This is the first studio I have ever been affiliated with!
Prior to moving to Tucson I brought yoga to the people-to community centers, libraries, parks, businesses, schools, random rented spaces and private in home clients!
