Himat Khalsa, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher

What brought you to yoga?
At a very early age, my Mom introduced me to yoga through her practice and resources she kept around the house. In my early 20’s, I returned to yoga and meditation as a way to process what was happening around and inside me in this cycle of great transformation and discovery.

What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
In 2004, I embarked on my 200 hour Kundalini Yoga Teachers Training in Portland, OR. This became the foundation of my personal practice, informed my future life choices, and transformed my life.  I am most inspired by helping students to integrate what they experience on the yoga mat with how they approach the gift of life.

What would your students be surprised to know about you?
The same month I completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Training, I received a call while driving through Mt. Shasta that would connect me to my wife, soulmate to infinity.
