Phoebe Jenkins, Yoga and Fitness Teacher

What brought you to yoga?
Yoga with my mom and grandma was a regular part of growing up. However, I thought yoga was really boring, until I was about 18 and discovered hot flow yoga in NYC, with fun music and a social vibe.

What’s your yoga background and what are you most passionate about teaching?
My yoga background is a combination of yin, hatha, vinyasa, inversions, group fitness and dance. I received my 200hr from Barefoot yoga, and my 300hr from Jason Crandell. My favorite classes to teach are fun flows, though I love leading a good recovery focused class too.

What would your students be surprised to know about you?
The first trick I taught my pitbull was to "savasana" on command. 🙂 Priorities!
