200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training:

BIPOC Scholarships

Yoga Pod Tucson recognizes that the conversation of equity in the yoga community needs attention. We are committed to reimagining current systems and building a space and supporting the broader yoga community, by fostering an environment where every person feels represented, understood, accepted and celebrated. This scholarship supports members of the global majority/BIPOC community (Black Indigenous People of Color) by increasing the accessibility of yoga and awarding one full and two partial scholarships ($2,000 and $1,500 off the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training tuition fee) to BIPOC students.

In addition to this scholarship, we are committed to actively revisiting the conversation of how we can do better each day by celebrating each other's inherent differences and cultivating a sense of mattering and belonging for people of all skin colors, gender identifications, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds. To learn more about the current systems we have in place to further this conversation, or to provide your feedback on how we can improve, please contact Shaelyn Delgado at shae@tucsonyogapod.com.
