Front Desk Member Ambassador

Yoga Pod Tucson is seeking a warm, reliable, and heart-centered team member to serve as a Front Desk Member Ambassador and steward the first impression of our studio. Position Details

Time Commitment: 1–2 consistent shifts per week, including weekend availability
Scheduling: In-studio, set hours*
Compensation: Starting at $15.50/hour
Reports To: Hari Rai, Director of People & Culture

*This role begins with a structured onboarding and integration period that includes training, mentorship, and thoughtful feedback to ensure mutual alignment and confidence in the responsibilities of the Front Desk Member Ambassador role. Ongoing placement reflects overall fit, performance, and a shared commitment to upholding Yoga Pod Tucson’s standards and values.

Key Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing, service-oriented presence.

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.

  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment while remaining warm and present.

  • Commitment to a personal yoga and/or mindful movement practice.

  • Willingness to practice across Yoga Pod Tucson class styles.

  • Minimum six months serving as a Yoga Pod Tucson teacher or in a karma yoga role.

  • Reliable availability with flexibility to support weekday and weekend shifts.

  • Previous customer service or wellness experience preferred.

Core Responsibilities & Studio Stewardship

Guest Experience

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and sincerity, striving to learn and remember names.

  • Support client self-check-in with confidence and ease.

  • Answer calls and respond to texts promptly and professionally.

  • Guide clients through memberships, pricing, classes, and workshops with clarity and care.

  • Stay informed on all offerings and promotions to confidently support guest questions.

  • Help students discover the class pathway that feels supportive and aligned.

  • Address concerns with empathy, professionalism, and appropriate escalation when needed.

Ambassador Role

  • Embody Yoga Pod Tucson’s mission, values, and vision in both word and action.

  • Model compassion, inclusivity, and heart-centered service.

Team & Collaboration

  • Partner seamlessly with teachers and fellow staff to ensure smooth class transitions.

  • Work collaboratively with on-staff karma to maintain efficiency and shared accountability.

  • Communicate mindfully, honoring clarity, respect, and teamwork.

  • Take initiative to complete tasks, support others, and uphold collective standards.

Studio Operations

  • Develop proficiency in:

    • Walla Studio Management System

    • Studio sound, lighting, humidity, and HVAC systems

    • Alarm and opening/closing procedures

  • Support all opening, ongoing, and closing duties to maintain a clean, safe, and energetically welcoming environment.

  • Back of House Stewardship: Maintain the timely resetting of the prop wall, laundry cycles, lavender towels, and the subtle details that preserve Yoga Pod Tucson’s pristine, calming atmosphere.

  • Take pride in the appearance, energy, and integrity of the studio space.

  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
