Child Care Provider

Thank you for your interest in working for Yoga Pod Tucson in our Childcare department, or playPOD! We approach employment the same way that we approach our classes, with community first. The best way to join our community is through our Karma Yogi program.

Our Karma Yogi program is one weekly 3 hour shift in exchange for our BLUE unlimited membership. Our Karma Yogi's are the backbone of our studio, providing support to all staff and our guests through cleaning studio props and mats, folding laundry, and maintaining a tidy space in our studio. Karma Yogi's work as a team with our instructors and front of house staff so we can provide the best possible experience for our studio guests. Participating in our Karma Yogi program allows you to take as many classes as possible to become integrated into our community, engage wholeheartedly in energy exchange with the studio, and understand our workings as a team member, or member of our podSQUAD. We ask for a 1 month commitment to this Karma Yogi role as a prerequisite to working in our playPOD. If there are no openings in the playPOD program, you may continue in the Karma Yogi program until a paid position opens, or to pay for membership. When there are openings for paid roles in our playPOD within the studio, we hire first from our team of Karma Yogi's. Please note participation in the Karma Yogi program does not guarantee employment in our playPOD.

Other perks for our podSQUAD are 30% off of retail, workshops and teacher training (after 6 months of Karma Yogi exchange and/or employment with the studio). We also have one Yoga Teacher's training scholarship that allows one of our employees to apply and if selected, participate in training without charge.
